St. Jacobs 农贸市场临时大棚开业了

著名的 St. Jacobs 农贸市场市场在今年9月初的一场大火中烧毁。经过努力，市场在原址旁边修建了这个临时性营业大棚。这个大棚在今天（星期四）按时开业了。重新开业的市场每星期四和星期六开门，7:00 AM - 3:30 PM。
那场大火原因仍在调查中。



Doors opened Thursday morning at the winter home for burned-out vendors at the St. Jacobs Farmers Market.

The landmark, two-storey market building was destroyed by fire on Labour Day. About 60 vendors were displaced.

A fabric-on-steel frame barn was built on the 20-by-80-metre foundation of the razed building by Mercedes Corporation, which owns the market complex at 878 Weber St. N.

The arch-shaped roof is translucent over the 49 vendors who moved in. The 15,600-square-foot "Harvest Barn" has heat and power inside.

Some food vendors displaced will get space inside the Peddlar's Village building nearby, which wasn't damaged by flames on Sept. 2.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A permanent replacement building is planned for construction in 2014.

The St. Jacobs Market is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays.
