Kitchener teen assaulted, robbed

KITCHENER — A Kitchener teen was targeted, assaulted and robbed by five males early Sunday morning, Waterloo Regional Police report.

The boy, 15, was assaulted on Weichel Street, near Victoria Street and Westmount Road.

They took cash from him and damaged his mobile phone. Police were contacted at 1:44 a.m.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call detectives at the Kitchener police station at 519-650-8500, ext. 4499.
