Parents and students get to Waterloo Park on time. 55 persons attended this gathering. ![]() Students are exciting and having never-ending chats. This is the first face to face gathering since the pandemic stay-home. ![]() The Youth Club Parents Council Committee board member Ms Chen Lin is responsible for the registration. ![]() Youth Club member, our young event host Shelisa ![]() Dr. Wang Xu gives out helpful advices on prevention and protection from professional her stand. Wearing masks, keeping social distance, washing hands frequently, preparing more backup masks are all good measures. She covers topics like: when do you need to wear masks? The difference between Covid and Flu. In what circumstance do you need to get test? Which test Centre requires no appointment? All are very helpful information. ![]() Dr. Wang Xu patiently answers the Q&A. Questions are like what is the effective time length of masks, how to reuse the mask if it is still clean? Repeat-use of mask should be washed separately and put in well ventilation area. Is it necessary to have flu shot? Her advice is getting the flu shot if you can. It will help avoid the flu, and boost the body immune system. ![]() Chen, Zhihong, the psychologist specialist, gives a speech on how to release the anxiety and distress. She teaches students some easy body practices, like belly-breathe, eagle-stretch, and turtle-walking. ![]() The crowds are following Ms Chen, doing the body practice. When it comes to turtle-walking, every people laughs. Doing these type of exercises really helps people relax, and getting joy, eliminating the negative feelings. ![]() Mike Zhang, the vice chairman of WCCA youth club, attends the University of Waterloo this year.
