8.18 Waterloo Chinese Festival Day – A Foodie’s Nirvana
8.18 Waterloo Chinese Festival Day – A Foodie’s NirvanaPeople in Waterloo Regions are extremely excited by the “Chinese Festival Day” (CFD for short) on August 18 at Waterloo Town Square. Not only this special event is the very first time in Waterloo history, but also all the foodies are curious what kind of authentic Chinese foods will be there waiting to be gulped down.Well the food market was her "Nirvana" - according to Pam from Waterloo :)
Chinese cuisine is an important part of Chinese culture. With five thousand years of history and civilization, China has developed a very unique and delicate food culture. Every dish must be perfect in color, smell and taste. Sometimes even the name of the dishes needs to be poetic and inspiring. As the organizer of CFD, Waterloo Region Chinese Community Association wants to share the joy of Chinese food culture with other communities as much as possible in a single day event. The volunteers in its food committee got the best chefs and food critics in town working around the clock to choose the menus and prepare ingredients. Their goal is to bring the most authentic Chinese dishes to the festival to serve its visitors from all cultural backgrounds.
We sincerely thank all of the visitors today! ... Especially to the Foodies. We are looking forward to seeing you again next year with more delicious Chinese foods!
